The AH-64 Apache is an American combat helicopter with twin turboshaft engines, tailwheel landing gear and a tandem cockpit for a crew of two. It has a nose-mounted sensor unit for target acquisition and night vision systems. It is armed with a 30 mm M230 chaingun and typically a mix of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 unguided rockets.The AH-64D Apache Longbow is equipped with a glass cockpit and advanced sensors, the most prominent of which are the AN/APG-78 Longbow millimetre wave fire control radar (FCR) and radar frequency interferometer (RFI). These are housed in a dome above the main rotor. Models & Model Kits are supplied unpainted and unassembled unless otherwise noted.
